General terms and conditions

Article 1. Definitions

  • Offer: Any proposal or offer from LilyRay to the consumer.
  • Consumer: A natural person who does not act in the course of a profession or business.
  • Buyer: The consumer who enters into an agreement with LilyRay.
  • Agreement: The (purchase) agreement between LilyRay and the consumer concerning the purchase of products or services.
  • LilyRay: The company that offers products and/or services to consumers.
  • Reflection period: The period during which the consumer can exercise the right of withdrawal.
  • Entrepreneur: The natural or legal person who offers products, digital content or services remotely to consumers.

Article 3. Application

3.1. These general terms and conditions apply to every offer from LilyRay and to every agreement between LilyRay and the consumer.

3.2. Before concluding the agreement, the consumer will be provided with the text of these terms and conditions, for example, via the website.

3.3. These terms and conditions can only be deviated from by express written agreement.

3.4. These terms and conditions also apply to any subsequent or additional purchases.


Article 4. The offer

4.1. Any restrictions or conditions attached to an offer will be clearly stated.

4.2. Products and services are described as completely and accurately as possible. Images are for illustrative purposes only; colors may vary. Obvious errors are not binding on LilyRay.

4.3. The offer states the consumer's rights and obligations.

4.4. LilyRay may refuse an order for valid reasons.

4.5. Delivery times are indicative; exceeding them does not entitle you to cancellation or compensation, unless otherwise agreed.

4.6. Offers are only valid for the specific order and cannot be automatically applied to repeat orders.


Article 5. Conclusion of the agreement

5.1. The agreement is concluded as soon as the consumer accepts the offer and meets the conditions.

5.2. Upon online acceptance, the consumer will receive a confirmation from LilyRay. Until then, the consumer can cancel the agreement.

5.3. LilyRay ensures secure online payment and data transfer.

5.4. LilyRay is not bound by an offer if there is an obvious mistake or typo.


Article 6. Right of withdrawal and cooling-off period

6.1. The consumer can cancel the purchase of non-custom-made products within 14 (calendar) days after receiving them.

6.2. The cooling-off period starts on the day the product is received.

6.3. The consumer shall handle the product and packaging with care and use it only to assess its properties.

6.4. Return costs are for the consumer.

6.5. The right of withdrawal is exercised by notifying LilyRay by email: info@lilyray.com . LilyRay will provide instructions for the return.

6.6. Products must be returned in their original condition, packaging and with all accessories.

6.7. Custom-made products are not covered by the right of withdrawal.

6.8. The consumer is liable for any diminished value due to improper use.


Article 7. Execution of the agreement

7.1. LilyRay will perform the agreement to the best of its ability.

7.2. The consumer must provide all necessary information in a timely manner. In the event of late delivery, LilyRay may suspend execution.

7.3. LilyRay is not liable for damages caused by incorrect or incomplete consumer data, unless LilyRay was aware of this.

7.4. The consumer indemnifies LilyRay against claims from third parties caused by his or her own actions.


Article 8. Conformity and warranty

8.1. LilyRay guarantees that products and services comply with the agreement, specifications, and legal requirements.

8.2. Products are only suitable for normal use.

8.3. Defects or incorrectly delivered products must be reported within 48 hours; returns must be in their original condition and packaging.

8.4. LilyRay offers a 6-month warranty (excluding normal wear and tear, such as scratches or slight discoloration due to use or care).

8.5. The warranty expires in the event of:

  • Repair it yourself or have it repaired by a third party
  • Exposure to abnormal conditions or careless use


Article 9. Payment

9.1. Payment is made immediately upon conclusion of the agreement, unless otherwise agreed.

9.2. Incorrect payment details must be reported immediately.

9.3. In the event of late payment, a 14-day period applies. After that, interest and collection costs may be charged.

9.4. Payments are processed securely through an external provider such as Shopify.


Article 10. Delivery

10.1. LilyRay handles orders and requests with care.

10.2. Delivery will be made to the address specified by the consumer.

10.3. In the event of a delayed or partial delivery, the consumer will be notified within 30 days and the order can be cancelled free of charge.

10.4. In the event of cancellation, the consumer will receive a refund of the amount paid.

10.5. The risk of damage or loss lies with LilyRay until the moment of delivery to the consumer or their representative.


Article 11. Retention of title

11.1 Products remain the property of LilyRay until full payment has been made.

11.2 The risk passes upon delivery.


Article 12. Complaints

12.1. Complaints must be submitted in writing and clearly within a reasonable time via info@lilyray.com .

12.2. The consumer will receive a response within 14 days; if the processing time is longer, a confirmation of receipt will be provided, indicating the response date.


Article 13. Additional provisions

13.1. The Agreement is exclusively governed by Dutch law.

13.2. LilyRay may amend these terms and conditions. Amendments are effective upon publication.


LilyRay Gift Card Terms and Conditions

  • Valid for all LilyRay gift cards (physical or digital).
  • Gift cards are unique and can only be used once; loss or theft will not be reimbursed.
  • Only original gift cards can be used.
  • Gift cards can be used in the webshop.
  • Residual value can be used in subsequent orders, not exchangeable for cash.
  • In case of a partial refund, the gift card balance will be increased first; any remaining amount will be refunded via the original payment method.
  • Misuse, counterfeiting or commercial exploitation is prohibited.
  • Terms and conditions are subject to change; use after modification constitutes acceptance.
